Weatherproof bi-directional amplifier for significant increase of operational range of 2.4GHz Direct Sequence and Frequencey Hopping Spread spectrumwireless systems.
Features
- Allows wireless stations to operate with a great seperation between indoor radio and low gain outdoor antenna (6 dBi omni or directional) using inexpensive coaxial cable (up to 200ft. LMR400/RG8). Allows effective operation with more than one outdoor higher gain antennas using RF power splitter/combiner.
- Intended to be pole mounted next to antenna for best efficiency.
Automatic Transmit Gain Control Feature provides:
- Compensation of feed line loss (in cable, connectors and DC injector).
- Maximum allowed power delivered directly to antenna, when mounted next to antenna.
- Capability to work with any Spread Spectrum radio available on the market having various RF output power.
- Increases station sensitivity due to use of low noise receiving pre-amplifier.
- High receiving gain provides compensation of feed line loss.
- Built-in band-pass filter facilitates co-location with different RF systems.
